My classroom allows teachers to build custom lessons to share with pupils.

My Classroom options

1. Use for front-of-class teaching on a single device

2. Generate a share code for temporary pupil access

3. Add student accounts to Classes to provide ongoing access.

Using My Classroom

1. Head to www.seymourlerhn.com/platform and log in.

2. From the dashboard, click My Classroom.

3. Choose a previous lesson or Create new lesson 

4. Click the lesson to edit

Top tip: Skip the edit page by clicking the board icon.

5. Edit the lesson and add resources.

6. When you’re ready to share, click View Lesson Board.

7. The board will open with tabs along the bottom for each resource added.

Sharing Lessons: Share Code

Share lessons with students through any WIFI connection. Supports remote access.

Install the Online Access App or open the Online Access Web App

1. Open your chosen lesson board

2. Click or tap Generate Share Code

3. On student devices, enter the Access Code and Device Name and click Enter in VR Mode (split screen for use with VR headsets) or Enter (for non-VR use on all other devices)

4. Click Admit to allow students to enter the lesson

5. Students will see a holding page until content is shared

6. Select the content to share and click Show Pupils to push to student devices

7. Device name dots will track and display to the teacher where each student is looking

Add Marker

Click within the tour to place a marker in the scene and bring attention to an area for students to look at. 

An arrow prompt will guide students towards the marker.

Pause/Resume Tour

Clicking Pause Tour will pause tours on student devices. Click the button again to Resume Tour.

Transport Here

To move students to a new location, use the Navigation Arrows or Quicklinks to switch location.

Click Transport Here to move all students to this location.

Sharing Lessons: Classes

Share lessons with registered students to access via their own accounts. 

1. From My Classroom, choose a class to share with or Create new class.

2. Check all students are assigned to the class.

3. Click Add Lesson to add new lesson content or click the X to remove a lesson.

4. Select a lesson from the list and click Add

5. From a student account, log in and go to My Classroom

6. All assigned lessons will be displayed. Click a lesson to enter the lesson board.

Creating Lessons

1. Head to www.seymourlerhn.com/platform and log in.

2. From the dashboard, click My Classroom.

3. Click Create new lesson + and add a lesson title.

4. Click the lesson to add content and resources.

5. Click Create Lesson Resource + to add content.

6. Choose the type of content you want to add.

Tour Resource

Choose from the library of tours and content included with your subscription. 

Search for content and click Add to add it to your lesson board.

Website Resource

Add websites and URLs (must be compatible with iFrame*)

Enter a Resource Name and the Website URL and click Create to add it to your lesson board.

*Check the url at iframetester.com

YouTube Resource

Add videos directly from YouTube

Enter a Resource Name and the YouTube URL and click Create to add it to your lesson board.

7. Added content will be shown as widgets.

8. You can change the colour of widgets by clicking the paint palette icon. Enter a HEX code, RGB, HSL or use the colour picker.

9. You can also upload your own files such as worksheets or other resources.

Creating Classes

1. From My Classroom, click Create new class

2. Name the class and click Create

4. Click on the class to edit

5. To add students, click Add Student
